Small Town Studio

Small-town craft, built to go further.

You focus on your craft. We help build the business around you, so you grow deeper in the markets you're in and into the ones you're not in yet.

You keep making. We build everything around it.

Your product and what your brand stands for sit at the centre, and you lead them. Around them we build six pillars of the business, starting with whichever one is holding back sales. It's rarely the one founders expect.

  • Commercial

Pricing, margins, channels and partner deals.

  • Operations

Suppliers, stock, packaging, fulfilment and customer service.

  • Growth

Website, social, ads, community, email and launches.

You lead

  • Product and craft What you make, and how it's made.
  • Brand identity Your values, your story, your look.
  • Culture How your team works, and what it won't compromise on.

We build around you

  • Legal

Trademarks, contracts, policies, and the import and labelling rules of each market.

  • Finance

Accounts, reporting, cash, payments, tax and a model for every market.

  • Team and rhythm

Built with you: a hiring plan, written ways of working, weekly numbers and a steady way of making decisions.

Brands people already love.

We work with brands that have already proved themselves in the Philippines. We don't take on ideas or brands that haven't started selling. Most are built on sustainability, craft or both.

  • Real customers

People paying for what you make, in numbers we can see.

  • Strong reviews

We read them ourselves before we read your numbers.

  • Customer love

Repeat buyers, a community, word of mouth.

Our first label.

Small Town Studio began as a label on Frankie General Store in November 2024. Clothes and a daily tote, many cut from deadstock linen and finished with Binakol, the Ilocano blanket weave, handwoven in Abra.

Further can mean deeper at home, or somewhere new.

Growth doesn't have to mean a new country. When it does, we choose the market with you, test it on the ground, and only then spend money on a launch.

6–10 weeks

to choose a market: shortlist, score each one side by side, then test the leader with real customers.

12 weeks

or so, from the decision to the first order in a new market.

One number

behind every market: what a new customer earns in their first 90 days, after what it cost to win them.

How it starts.

  1. Talk

Tell us about your brand. We read everything you send.

  2. Get to know each other

We read your reviews, talk to your customers and look at your numbers.

  3. Agree a deal

Every deal is built for the brand: any mix of a monthly fee, a revenue share or royalty, and an equity stake. Sometimes we invest as well.

  4. Build

We start on the pillar that's holding back sales.

  5. Grow

Deeper at home first, then further afield when the numbers say so.
